Coming 2 America

Akeem learns he has a long-lost son in the United States and must return to America to meet the unlikely heir to the throne of Zamunda. A sequel to the 1988 comedy 'Coming to America'.
It’s taken a little over 30 years, but moviegoers are finally being gifted with Coming to America 2 (or Coming 2 America). Yes, fans will be able to return to the African nation of Zamunda, where Prince Akeem (played by the returning Eddie Murphy) is now set to become king. However, the discovery of a long-lost son sets in motion a new adventure that will take him (and presumably Arsenio Hall’s Semmi) back to America.

The Oscar winner was spotted holding his scripts on the set of the new movie, Coming to America 2, and was joined by Arsenio Hall – who is clearly bringing back some iconic characters as he was looking very aged after a full face of makeup. 

We have been dying for updates about production about this epic sequel and sequels aren’t often welcomed, especially when you believe that the original can’t be beaten. Eddie and Arsenio, who is bringing back Rev. Brown, are currently working in Georgia and it’s the first time we’ve seen pictures from the set.
